Meet the Founder.

 

Hi, I'm Carlie and the founder of Wondering Kind. Nice to meet you 😊

I was inspired to start Wondering Kind because of my own children. I absolutely loved the soft look of natural cotton as a base to add happy and positive designs.

It's true that words have power and I wanted to use them to spread a little joy and make people smile (and it's impossible not to smile at a little one wearing one of our items)!

 I decided to start a brand to encompass this along with the value of kindness. With this in mind I make sure that all of our products are kind to the environment and non toxic.

Our goods are genuinely ethical, sustainable and fair to garment manufacturers.

The simple designs speak loudly and proudly for the moments to celebrate in a little ones life. Is there anything more important than celebrating a birthday, Christmas or becoming a sibling? We think not!

All items are printed (by me) in my small studio in Manchester, UK, using OEKO-TEX® materials, so no worries about nasties getting on to the most precious skin.

Wondering Kind began with the first 'Birthday Boy' t-shirt for my then 3 year old.. It was such a wonderful day and he felt really special every time someone saw his top and said happy birthday. I remember thinking that everyone should feel that kind of joy that he and the kind strangers celebrating him, would have felt.
